WHSS has created a name which is built on achievements and merit. This name inspires trust and hints at innovation in the classroom. Change is embraced, heights are scaled, and students are provided a platform to showcase their talent.

Milestones:

Winner of International School Award by ISA Team, British Council on 16th November 2017 for the period of 3 years (2017 - 2020). . The International School Award was awarded for demonstrating a commitment to developing global citizens by embedding internationalism throughout the ethos and curriculum of the school. The team was led by Mr. Wahaj Hussain as the Chairman/Principal of the school along with a team of other members from the school on this project. Criteria for the schools selection to be included in the competition was the inclusion of schools from all over Pakistan with all types of school including public sector schools.

Wahaj Hussain’s School System (WHSS) was awarded as the only school in Pakistan to have received ACTIVE CITIZENS PROGRAM Award for its project ‘Green life, Serene life’ as the most innovative idea for conservation of plants. The Active Citizen program was the initiative of the British Council, Pakistan for the Partner Schools Global Network(PSGN). Only 15 schools were selected from all over Pakistan by the British Council’s Active Citizens team through detailed interviewing of schools’ management. Only 5 schools were selected from Karachi for training of mentors and facilitators and in the final 60 Social Action Projects(SAPs) were presented in the National Social Action Project Awards Ceremony held in Islamabad in presence of Deputy Director British Council, Mr James Hampson, Ms Uzma Yusuf, Country Director Cambridge International Examinations and Mr. Baligh Ur Rehman, Minister of State for Federal Education & Professional Trainings on 31st January 2018.

The only educational institute in Pakistan to have produced 16 Guinness World Record holders to brand Pakistan on international level initiated through Whales Guinness Training Program at Whales College in 2018 in the field of education and logic. The students of Whales College and Wahaj Hussain’s School System were trained and successfully achieved the records in various categories. WHSS is proud to contribute directly to Pakistan's recongnition in the International Arena.

In 2019 WHSS has taken the initiative to launch a groundbreaking curriculum for the students of O/levels in the name of TRAILBLAZER which aims to equip the students with skills needed to compete in the 21st century. This program was launched after detailed research by Wahaj Hussain, the principal of the school after two to three years of rigorous discussions and understanding of international education.

WHSS moved to a purpose built facility in Gulshan Block 4 with a futsal ground, state of the art Auditorium, library, labs and bigger classes for combined sessions and focused practice.

Two of our students from Wahaj Hussain’s Schools System S.M. Ashraf Jahangir Ahmed and Wania Iftikhar got the Top in Pakistan for Cambridge O Level Award in the O/Level Physics in June 2021 & Nov 2021 CAIE exams.

We have produced 841 O/level graduates till now and out of these graduated students 54 got straight A’s (8A’s or more), 28 got 7 A’s, 41 got 6 A’s, 38 got 5 A’s and 55 got 4 A’s.
